From tree to tea, chaga is one of those universally versatile bases that can be used in more ways than one. Incorporating chaga into your daily routine provides the body with a number of incredible benefits. Antioxidants, polysaccharides to support cardiovascular health, triterpenes, and immunomodulatory benefits to name a few.
Our version of an Americano coffee! Add a shot of espresso and to a mug of hot chaga tea. Nut milk & natural sweetener to taste.
Perfect for an extra kick in the morning!
2. Chaga Chai Tea
Add a generous pinch of cardamom, dried ginger, cinnamon, and a small amount of black pepper, a few cloves and star anise to a medium pot of chaga tea and steep on low heat for 20 mins to infuse.
Strain and enjoy!
This brew is perfect for those looking to avoid the added caffeine of black tea. Added benefit of black pepper, cinnamon, and ginger for blood circulation.
3. Vitamin C Boost Chaga Tea
This tea uses a combination of Goji berries and rose buds to bring added flavour and boost to you Chaga brew. Goji berries are rich in vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamin C and thiamin. Rose buds offer additional Vitamin C, polyphenols and a wonderful fragrant flavour to the tea.
Add a teaspoon of each Goji berries and rose buds to a small pot of Chaga and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and squeeze contents of berries into the brew.
A great combination for the winter months to help aid the body against infection and colds.
4. Rich Wild Mint Chaga Black Tea
Wild mint and chocolate black tea and chaga is all she wrote. This tea is rich and smooth from the black tea and chaga base with a fresh mint kick. Mint aids in digestion making this tea a perfect after meal addition.
Add a tablespoon of each mint and black tea to your chaga base and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove and enjoy.
5. Chocolate & Chaga
This morning brew is simply made with chaga, pu erh & organic dark chocolate. Because, well, chocolate. Why not?
Pu erh is an earthy tea that blends perfectly with chaga. This fermented tea block has a mild caffeine level paired with a little chocolate it makes for a wildly rich tea.
