Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus) is a medicinal mushroom species that can be found in North America's cold climate birch forests. Known as the "King of Medicinal Mushrooms", chaga is a forest rarity with large medicinal benefits historically used in Chinese and Russian traditional medicine. It has a slow growth rate of about 10+ years until maturity, all the while absorbing the life force of the tree.
