WILD . SUSTAINABLE . CANADIAN
Wild Bosket is an exploration of anything and everything wild. The term "bosket" is an English adaptation from French "bosquet" meaning a group of small trees or bushes. On foraging expeditions these boskets are exactly what our eyes are examining while running through the forest. It embodies the perfect symbiotic relationship between trees and fungi where patches of mushrooms are able to flourish. Boskets are our workspace. It's where we find inspiration.
Kaitlyn is a graduate of the University of Guelph with specialization in Microbiology and International Development. Her passion for seeking out wild goods was born from a love of working in Canada's lush forests and learning about surrounding wild medicinals and foods. After spending years planting trees in both British Columbia and Alberta she discovered the joy of foraging for herself and for others. Summer and falls are now filled with forestry work, moving from contract to contract, harvesting and preserving and inventing in and between the changing seasons.
